Holy Week this year is extraordinary. Most of us will have to spend it within the confines of our own homes, with limited access to things we are so used to. However, this doesn’t mean that we should be lax on our faith. It’s rather a great opportunity to intensify our efforts to be “God-like”. Here are some meaningful ways to still keep the “holy” on Holy Week.
The government helps provide food to the lowest income households, as the government should. But those who held a regular job and a steady source of income just three weeks ago were starting to ask – or demand – for their taxes to work for them, too.
This blog kind of renewed its domain and hosting automatically while I’m still deciding if I should keep it or not. I didn’t have the time to blog for months anyway. This was reiterated by the tourism representative who did the briefing for all travelers before we were allowed to ride the 6×6 SKW Military Trucks. Now, sometimes the tour organizers and tourism officers would exaggerate for safety reasons. This time, though, it […]
I missed Carmel Youth last August because of a supposed trip to Kaparkan Falls in Abra. They discussed Pope Francis’ apostolic exhortation released March, 2019, addressed to everyone especially the youth entitled “Christus Vivit“. I spent some days reading this piece and inspired by Pope Francis’ teachings and the beauty I saw at Northern Blossom […]
At times, because of traffic and over familiarity, we run out of new things to see in Baguio City. But just a few hours away, there are still places within Benguet Province that offers spectacular view of sea of clouds and fields of flowers in chilling temperature. Such is the case of Northern Blossom Flower Farm in […]
EMPTY SPACES CAN BE SO LOUD I’ve got nothing to say but I have this nagging feeling that I got to write something today. During those months that I wasn’t able to publish anything on this blog, a lot of things were going on. And I’d say a lot! I didn’t even had time to […]
