What is inside

  • 30 secular mindfulness prompts drawn from Kabat-Zinn-style MBSR principles. No mantras, no incense, no belief required.
  • Daily 5-minute practice log with a "what I noticed today" entry. Builds the noticing muscle, not the discipline guilt.
  • Breathing exercise reference (box, 4-7-8, paced exhale) for the moments mindfulness needs to land in 60 seconds.
  • Body-scan check-in page for the tension you have been ignoring in your shoulders since Tuesday.
  • "Awareness of thought" worksheet for naming what your mind is doing rather than getting swept by it.
  • Weekly + monthly reflection pages to track shifts you would otherwise miss day-to-day.

Who this is for

Women who have tried meditation apps for two weeks, stopped, and felt like one more thing they failed at. Women who want a quieter mind but cannot make themselves sit cross-legged for 20 minutes. Women curious about mindfulness but wary of the spiritual packaging.

This journal asks for 5 minutes. With a pen. About what you noticed today. That is the whole practice. The structure of the page does the work that an app tries to do with notifications, and there is no streak to break, no algorithm to please.

Mindfulness is widely studied and broadly effective for stress, sleep, attention, and emotional regulation, but it is not a substitute for therapy or medical care for clinical conditions. If you are dealing with significant anxiety, depression, or trauma, please work with a professional alongside this practice.

Why a printable, not a meditation app

Headspace and Calm are excellent products, but they assume you have 15 minutes, headphones, and a willingness to sit still. The page asks for less and gives back something different.

Frequently asked questions

Tap any question to see the answer.

Do I need to know how to meditate to use this?

No. This is a mindfulness journal, not a meditation course. The prompts walk you through noticing your thoughts, body, and surroundings in short structured exercises. If you have never meditated, this is a safe place to start. If you already meditate, it complements the practice by extending it onto paper.

Is this religious or spiritual?

No. The prompts are drawn from Kabat-Zinn-style Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), which is the secular, evidence-based clinical lineage of mindfulness. There is no mention of chakras, energy, or any spiritual framework. Use it alongside any (or no) faith tradition.

How is this different from a gratitude journal?

A gratitude journal points your attention at the good (what was I thankful for today). A mindfulness journal points your attention at what is happening (what am I noticing right now, without trying to fix or improve it). They complement each other but answer different questions.

How long does it take to use each day?

The core daily practice is 5 minutes. Some pages (body scan, weekly reflection) take 10 to 15 minutes. Designed to be doable on a Tuesday evening when even 10 minutes feels like a lot.

Can I print it more than once?

Yes. Your purchase is for personal use; reprint as many copies as you need.

What size paper does it print on?

Both US Letter (8.5 by 11 in) and A4 sizes are included in the same download.

Is this a subscription?

No, $14.99 once. No recurring charges, no account, no app.
